Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do!

Taylor went to St. George with the Men's Choir -- stayed with this family while they were there.

Here comes trouble (Alicia and Jenna)

Still Newlyweds

We still love looking at these pictures of the newlyweds before they became wedded.

Two Love Birds

Time flies - Jessica and Jason will be married 2 years this month. Where have the last 24 months gone?

The "Mom Look"

This is the dreaded "now you've done it" look. It's one of the secret weapons in my arsenal that guilts kids into doing what they should do. I learned it in basic training (parenting over 20 years with 4 kids).

I promise I didn't do it

How could you doubt a face like that? Trouble is he probably did do "it"!

Old Time Picture

Fourth of July 2006
We headed west to Reno, robbed a bank and split the loot. Lucy was the lookout.

Rock-a-bye Baby

Poncho has no lack of
attention in this home.

Jenna and Lucy

Family favorites

No picture album would be complete without the celebrities -- Lucy modeling her high fashion accessory.

Who remembers this one?

I think we went out to eat at a western-like restaurant but can't remember the name. Anyone recall?

Jenna flirting with the locals

Jenna will kiss almost any good looking guy whether he is real or not.

Sunday after church

We thought we might as well take a picture together since we were snapping so many of Grant. This year will be 25 years of marriage.

Mom's favorite picture

Outrageously handsome!

All grown up

Grant poses in the "virtual" forest of our front yard.

Keep both hands on the steering wheel!

Oops! Caught your hand on her shoulder!

No shortage of macho here

Yes, Grant is the man.

The party is just beginning

The group all met at Josh Schmidt's house with the parents taking pictures before they left. The boys are practicing with their walkie talkie routine before they follow in a caravan led by Grant down to the Sacramento Ballroom.

The garden picture

I can't believe our "youngest child" is in a tuxedo! Life is going by too fast. Grant and Amanda March 24, 2006.

Can't believe he's so tall!

Grant and his date Amanda coordinated their
colors of brown and creme. He bought her a wrist corsage with peach and creme roses.
The pretty ones are in the front
Grant and Amanda Levy, Collin and Rebecca Drumwright, Josh and Jenny Harless, and Kevin and Tara Martin. These kids went to the Sacramento Grand Ballroom for the Junior Prom.

Junior Prom 2006

Grant, Collin Wheeler, Josh Schmidt, and Kevin MacMaster ready to rock and roll. Grant is actually tallest of these young men but is standing on the floor as they are positioned on the staircase above him.

Mom's new office

We hope to close escrow on this building and be moved in by the end of this summer. This will be Mom's new office located off of Lonetree Blvd in Rocklin - just minutes from home.

Crazy Teenagers

Grant -- the ladies' man

The gang's all here

Dating
Grant and his friends, Mark Jay and the two good looking girls are doing an art project as part of the date-night -- under the watchful eye of mother.

Happy Birthday Dad

Susan visited Grandpa Janos and Lisa at their new home in Post Falls, ID.

Grandpa Janos turns 80 years old

I went to see Grandpa Janos on the January 26-29th weekend, 2007. He celebrated his 80th birthday and is looks as handsome as ever. This is Grandpa, Lisa, Paul Marias, Lisa Marias Lopes and me at the restaurant where we had his birthday dinner.

Grant being Grant

We're not sure why Grant is perched up on the roof of the car but he appears to be speaking some prehistoric sign languge. The scarf
around his head may mean that he was temporarily ill (or insane) at this moment.

Christmas Card Perfect

Mom here looking happy as ever because her family is gathered together for Christmas. The tree this year was decorated in gold/red/purple.

Summer 2006

Whoops - this is out of order but we wanted it in anyway -- Grandma Ethel and Grandaughter Jenna at the Crum Reunion July 2006.

Grant and Jenna with Alien Dog-Poncho

Grant and Jenna are snuggling with the latest edition to our family, Poncho. He was adopted last summer and is the little brother of Lucy, our bigger dog. Lucy and Poncho are as much a part of our family as is . . . the cat.

Taking it easy

Christmas Eve: There's nothing like taking it easy and laying around on the couch for story telling and singing. We had the missionaries over for the evening and enjoyed Christmas stories and songs after a wonderful meal. Wish you were all there.

Ralston siblings

Yes, they are still competing with each other to get the best spot for the picture! Grant hugging Jenna (that's a historical moment) and Taylor trying to squeeze into the pic = they still like each other after all these years.

Jenna at Christmas 2006

Jenna came home for two weeks at Christmas to enjoy sleeping, eating home cooked meals, and romping with the household pets. She enjoyed hanging out with Mom and sleeping in her hot pink room.
